Diamond Price M.S. is a fifth-year Psy. D. Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student at Northern Arizona University (NAU). She has completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Psychology, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Research. Diamond has conducted neurocognitive assessments in a world-renowned clinic and facility in Newport Beach, California, at the Shankle Clinic (located within Hoag Hospital). She was taught by and collaborated with a leading expert in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other related neurological degenerative conditions. Diamond also has experience with substance use, the legal system, and court-mandated treatment, Assessment of Intellectual abilities (IQ), Learning disabilities, Dementia, Memory, Personality, Autism, Substance Use, Neuropsychology, and Forensics.
She is clinically trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for insomnia (CBTi), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy (TFCBT), Mindfulness, Emotion regulation, Biofeedback, Suicidality, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Diamond has been an APA poster and presentation reviewer for Division 56 trauma committee. She has co-authored and published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on topics including: Suicidality and Attempts in tertiary care, and Prognosis and Diagnostic Biomarkers in mild traumatic brain injury, published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. She has presented numerous topics for teens and adults and is currently working on the publication of her first book. She has been elected as a Graduate Representative at multiple graduate schools, including the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Northern Arizona University.
Diamond is currently the GSG (Graduate Student Government) representative for graduate students where she sits as the only graduate student on NAU ‘s Budget Advisory Board for the university. Her interests include advancing the future, prioritizing mental health for humanity, spending time with her family, and staying up-to-date with current research.
